Veterinarians, vet techs/nurses, and other veterinary care providers experience high rates of burnout and psychological distress. Because we work in a care-driven field, spending so much time looking after other people and their pets, it's easy to forget or deprioritize our own wellness. 

My name is Dr. Marie Holowaychuk and my mission is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of veterinary professionals. I am working to achieve this by sharing evidence-based and practical resources through the Reviving Vet Med website and e-newsletter. 

The newsletter is intended for all members of the veterinary team who are interested in learning more about the wellness issues we face today, and more importantly, how we can overcome them. It also contains information about upcoming programs / events and other wellness takeaways for veterinary professionals.
